Hwang Myeong-ho’s mansion.

A window opened without a sound.

Taking advantage of the house’s owner, Hwang-ho’s absence, inside of the lifted barrier, Jeok-ho appeared.

Jeok-ho quietly jumped from the window.

Thanks to activating Red Smoke, he successfully landed without a sound, but simultaneously with the skill activation, his body throbbed.

‘I’m still not completely recovered, but it’s possible to move my body and activate skills. The full-scale battle would be difficult, but it’s good enough to assist Hwang-ho.’

Hwang-ho prohibited Jeok-ho from participating in the operation.

Jeok-ho pretended to follow Hwang-ho’s words, but he was thinking of joining them and looking for an opportunity.

‘Nine Iron Teeth Rake’s forking… Even I, who is used to pain, found it difficult to bear. If needed, it would be better for me to act as a shield, right?’

He hated to think his close friend Hwang-ho or his benefactor Jo Uisin would end up experiencing that pain.

But of course, it wouldn’t be a problem if it was the Moon Rabbit.

Woof!

In front of Jeok-ho, who was heading towards the maze garden, the divine beast appeared.

Though like before, it was a tiny puppy, a look borrowed from the Gyeon tribe, it was a divine beast, Snare, whose divine power grew with each passing day.

If the divine beast blocks his way, the matter could become complicated.

Jeok-ho politely appealed to the divine beast:

“Divine beast, may you kindly pretend not to know?”

Woof woof!

The divine beast barked resolutely.

Jeok-ho couldn’t as skillfully read the divine beast’s intentions as Baek-ho, but he could understand that the divine beast rejected his request.

It looked like even the divine beast didn’t wish for the injured Jeok-ho to go out.

Even so, Jeok-ho decided to appease the divine beast.

“I’m going to help Hwang-ho and Jo Uisin.”

The divine beast’s relationship with Hwang-ho was subtle, but it was following Jo Uisin really well.

If he says that it’s to help Jo Uisin, the divine beast will also be convinced.

…Keung.

As expected, the divine beast started to hesitate.

While the divine beast hesitated, Jeok-ho took a step forward.

However, Baek-ho blocked the way in front of him.

“…”

Baek-ho, standing without a word.

It looked like he had no intention of smoothly sending Jeok-ho out.

“Please let me go, Baek-ho. Aren’t you also worried about Hwang-ho and Jo Uisin?”

“You’ll become a burden if you go injured.”

“I won’t become a burden if I use my skills. Even though I can’t be of much help, I…”

Jeok-ho, whose words blurred at the end.

Baek-ho continued to speak with a frosty tone as before.

“The two of them continue to worry about you. If you, who still haven’t recovered, go there, it will become a burden on their minds.”

At Baek-ho’s words, Jeok-ho was shaken for a moment, but his desire to join the two of them grew bigger.

“I’ll go. Are you thinking of forcibly stopping me?”

“…”

“My power cannot compare with yours, but your body cannot leave the Eungwang district.”

If the prisoner of the divine realm, Baek-ho, leaves Eungwang district, he receives heavy penalties.

If he endures that and leaves it, his statistics will drop and it would become even more difficult to catch Jeok-ho.

‘If I leave Eungwang district, Baek-ho won’t be able to follow.’

Swish—!

Jeok-ho, who was enduring the pain, rose up the superpower wave.

Just in the moment he was about to activate the Red Smoke, Baek-ho said a word.

“If you leave the manor, I’ll inform that child.”

“Who are you talking about?”

Jeok-ho, who asked back like that, in his mind could recall nothing but his son’s face.

Jeok-ho canceled the skill, which was already activated, and stiffened.

“I’m talking about the child who resembles you.”

Jeok-ho completely lost his fighting spirit.

If that troublemaker learned where Jeok-ho was going, he was certain to risk endangering himself and go there too.

He couldn’t summon his son to the dangerous place where the Ung tribe members may appear.

“Baek-ho, don’t you want to go?”

Baek-ho didn’t answer that question and gave a bizarre reply.

“Come back, Jeok-ho. Let’s play chess.”

Baek-ho and chess.

When Jeok-ho was a bit surprised at that unsuitable combination.

Woof woof!

The divine beast ran around Jeok-ho in circles as if telling him to go without hesitation, and then started to follow after Baek-ho.

Baek-ho and the divine beast headed towards the entrance of the mansion.

Jeok-ho hesitated and then walked behind them.

Boat party jointly hosted by Ju-Oh and TC Groups.

The boat party was hosted on the cruise ship ‘Cymopoleia’ owned by TC group.

And currently the destination that boat was heading towards was JuOh Island, an isle owned by the Ju-Oh Group.

‘They said that Ju-Oh Group bid on an inhabited island to make a resort and now it’s being used as VIP exclusive accommodation, right?’

In the previous world, it was actually within the actively managed territory governed by Korea which possessed management and control authority over it.

In that territory, there were 3,358 islands.

Among them 482 were inhabited islands.

2,876 were uninhabited islands.

Among the uninhabited islands, 1,270 of islands were private lands and only those uninhabited islands were possible to trade.

‘But even so, there were no people who bought them.’

It was either because of the development ban.

Or they were special islands designated by the Ministry of Environment.

Or those with designated usage were under absolute or partial environment protection, etc.

In the previous world’s Korea, even if one did their best to buy an island, it was difficult to build even one house, moreover an active trade didn’t form because there was no future prospective profit to be expected.

But this world where the Clash of Different Worlds occurred was different.

‘There is a limit to the government and Player’s Association’s budget. Otherworlds occur even in the areas with small populations or no populations at all, but as manpower was difficult to arrange, there was a need to borrow the strength of capital, wasn’t there?’

With the government Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Otherworlds as a center, the uninhabited island’s preservation and management laws were redesigned.

As a result, with a few conditions added, the development of uninhabited islands was allowed.

Typical conditions were that a Pro-Player team would be employed to be stationed on it once a day for at least 10 hours and would actively respond to aid with the otherworld outbreaks in the relevant area

After the development of such uninhabited islands with weakened island regulations became possible, several businesses and magnates came to bid on those uninhabited islands.

The result of that was the Cymopoleia currently heading towards the JuOh Island.

“So, you’re saying that currently this ship is going to JuOh Island Resort on the south coast?”

Hearing Ju Su-hyeok’s explanation, Maeng Hyodon asked back.

“To sum it up, yeah. Because they plan to sail very slowly to not disturb the gala dinner and moon greeting[2] event, we will arrive only in the morning.”

“Is that so? It doesn’t feel like sailing at all.”

Maeng Hyodon looked around the suite as he spoke.

The place said to be a cabin was divided into a living room, dining room and a bedroom.

Soft fine yarn rug covering the entire floor and automatic reclining sofa.

On the wall were an ultra high definition screen, individual vaults and even exclusive bells to call individually assigned to us butlers installed.

If not for the scene of the sea visible through the glass window, as Maeng Hyodon said, it would feel more like visiting a hotel than sailing.

‘This is an ocean view suite room for us, the students? Ju-Oh and TC are considerate, huh?’

Though it may have been natural as we were Ju Su-hyeok’s friends and moreover, we were Players who played an active role in the Jamsil Baseball Stadium incident.

“But this room is to be used by me, vice president and that ba… that Military Academy guy who nags a lot, Jang Namuk, so three. Which room is yours?”

“Um… Because I came together with my family, I was assigned there, but I don’t plan on going there. As I finished greetings before boarding the ship, I’ll continue to play together with you.”

I guess that Ju Su-hyeok, Tao Wonu and To Sihu were assigned a cabin together with each of their families.

‘Ju Su-hyeok is saying he has no plans of going there? He finished all the greetings before getting rid of the clothes and coming here, huh?’

As expected from the title hero, he was cautious.

While we talked about the schedule, I heard the sound of a bell.

Ding-dong–!

After activating the interphone app connected with the device, I saw faces of the Military Academy’s 1st and 2nd place, To Sihu and Jang Namuk, and Eungwang School’s Student Council president, Tao Wonu.

[It’s us, please open!]

I heard To Sihu’s bright voice beyond the screen.

Immediately after I pressed the approve button, the automatic door connecting us with the outside opened.

“Whoa, it seems it’s been so long, right! Long time no see!”

“Hi, Uisin, Su-hyeok, Hyodon. I’m happy to get to see you all here. Wait, Hyodon, your tie is a bit out of place, how about looking in the mirror and tying it again?”

Three people dressed in tuxedos appeared.

To Sihu and Jang Namuk finished their greetings like usual, but Tao Wonu didn’t move from the edge of the doors.

Right now, among the three who suddenly arrived, worthy of my Playable Character and senior, the tuxedo suited him the best, but his eyes were the most corrupted.

“… Hi.”

After greetings To Sihu and Jang Namuk, they continued to even congratulate me for the chess tournament victory.

Tao Wonu again hesitated corruptly and then congratulated.

That day, Yu Sang-hui came to that place to cheer for me and what’s more, I, who she was cheering for, won, so I guess he was extremely annoyed.

“… Congratulations.”

Tao Wonu was making corrupted eyes, but as he gave congratulations, I decided to generously move on.

“Wonu hyung, are all your greetings finished? I heard that you came late because of the Student Council’s work.”

“Yeah, I have to go to see them immediately. Therefore, Sihu…”

“I pulled you here because I wanted to take a group picture. It’s difficult for us to dress up like that and gather, you know?”

I guess Tao Wonu, who was busy, came all the way here because he accepted To Sihu’s request.

“Then pictures!”

A picture of six of us was taken with To Sihu’s as the lead and the wide glass window with the sea lightly visible in the background.

To Sihu and Ju Su-hyeok were natural, but Jang Namuk and Maeng Hyodon were making stiff expressions.

That wasn’t that bad, but thanks to Tao Wonu sending a corrupt gaze towards me when the picture was taken, we had to take it again three more times.

“Wonu hyung…”

“Then I’ll be going.”

Tao Wonu ignored To Sihu staring at him with sad eyes and left.

After Tao Wonu disappeared, an announcement informing about the departure rang out together with the sound of a boat whistle.

“We’re departing!”

Jang Namuk and Maeng Hyodon jumped from their seats and ran to the window.

“Can’t windows be opened here?”

“Ah, you can control it with a device. Just a moment.”

After Jang Namuk turned on a hologram, the app to operate the suite floated up together with the map of the cruise ship.

Soon, the scenery beyond the window gradually started to move, and the two people cheered as they got beaten up by the sea breeze.

I guess both of them were waiting to sail.

***

“I’ll guide you. I’ve been here a few times so I remember.”

Under Ju Su-hyeok’s guidance, the five of us started ship sight-seeing.

Top floor lounge with the best view.

Restaurant with an ocean view and a cafe on the deck covered with natural grass.

Outside swimming pool, sunbathing platform, spa.

Game arcade, art gallery, library, movie theater.

Besides those, there were several places with lounges and cafes installed to enjoy other views depending on the location.

Jang Namuk and Maeng Hyodon continued to burst into admiration while checking the cruise ship’s map.

On the other hand, there was one person among us who couldn’t enjoy sailing.

“I think I’m dying…”

To Sihu with a blue face.

I guess To Sihu was sea sick.

As Players had outstanding physical abilities, they rarely suffered from motion sickness, but sometimes there were exceptions.

Just like among the Players who had outstanding intellectual abilities there were exceptions like the Small Stone Maeng Hyodon.

“There are medical facilities on the ship, let’s get you motion sickness medicine!”

“No, the edible motion sickness medicine causes loss of sense of direction and the plaster kind causes pupil expansion, you know? If I use Electro Art in that state, I’ll lose my eyes. Motion sickness medicine is fatal.”

At Jang Namuk’s concern, To Sihu shook his head.

But looking at To Sihu’s current appearance, it seemed that the motion sickness was already fatal on its own.

“I thought Sihu overcame his sea sickness because he was so extremely excited about the boat party.”

“Hahaha, I waited to go out with you to play.”

To Sihu who was still smiling at Ju Su-hyeok’s words.

I guess there was a reason.

Then, To Sihu suddenly raised his head as if he realized something and said:

“I’m vomiting on the Sat-hurl-day!” [3]

No way, did you just say that joke for real?

After no one laughed, To Sihu made a sullen face.

In the sunken mood, I opened the Exclusive Menu and used ‘Open the map of the surrounding area’ which became possible.

Major part of the minimap was filled up.

‘Should I turn back in this direction?’

I turned back to the children as I spoke.

“There is still some time left until the gala dinner starts, so let’s rest. Shall we go to our room?”

“Yeah.”

“…Ok.”

Ju Su-hyeok and Jang Namuk helped To Sihu, who didn’t have strength to walk, with both of their arms.

Even in the midst of it, To Sihu was attempting to make nonsense jokes and repeatedly sulked at the negative response.

I guess he still had some energy left.

Looking at To Sihu like that, I thought it was a bit strange.

‘Tao Wonu attended to greet adults, but why didn’t To Sihu go? To Sihu also arrived late.’

Was it like that because of sea sickness?

***

We rested until the time of the gala dinner, and after the time had come, we moved to the central main dining hall.

At the entrance of the enormous three-layered dining hall stood Cymopoleia’s captain and key crewmembers.

“Hey, let’s go.”

We tidied our clothes and headed to the entrance.

*~*~*

[1] No chapter title – The chapter title is ‘Boat party under the moonlight (2)’ but for some reason it’s not here.

[2] moon greeting – A custom of welcoming a full moon. Because it was thought to be bad luck to see the full moon rise before others, people in the past would light up the torches and go uphill together, then when they saw the moon rise, they would bow to the moon and make a wish. The full moon’s shape and color was also used to predict the future harvest.

[3] “I’m vomiting on the Sat-hurl-day!” – First, I’m very sorry. This joke isn’t that terrible in korean (now it’s a bit better after a revision, but I’m still sorry). The joke in korean is literally: “Vomits (토) came out on Saturday (토요일)!”

Translator’s note: To Sihu, I truly adore you, but please, just for a moment, don’t tell any jokes when I’m translating.

Did you see a mistake? 🐞

I wonder what is Jo uisin
    Planning to do??

Thank you for this chapter despite the troubles it caused you

    Nooo…! I’ve caught up!

    Now what to do?
    Sad. I am sad.

Thank you for the chapter!! _(:’з」∠)_

Since I don’t know what to say anymore here… Let’s just talk about this chapter.

[ “I’m talking about the child who resembles you.”

Jeok-ho completely lost his fighting spirit. ]

Uuu, I know that he really does love Kim Sinrok, but seriously, every time things like this happen, my heart seems like it’s about to melt, not the kind of happy ‘melting’, but the kind of ‘what to do, these two, seriously,’ something like that. (´༎ຶ▽༎ຶ`)

[ In the sunken mood, I opened the Exclusive Menu and used ‘Open the map of the surrounding area’ which became possible.

Major part of the minimap was filled up. ]

I guess I know why you said that this sounded suspicious, Translator-nim. Even without the context, I feel like there’s definitely something to be suspicious about here. But aside from that, Jo Uisin, does his head not throbbing anymore after opening the map here? Or it’s not happening yet?

[ Looking at To Sihu like that, I thought it was a bit strange.

‘To Wonu attended to greet adults, but why didn’t To Sihu go? To Sihu also arrived late.’

Was it like that because of sea sickness? ]

Huh? Huhhh??? What’s on here? Another suspicious thing? Is his relationship with the other families not that good? Or is there something else happening, behind the reason for him to not go with To Wonu? For him to not greet the adults? Hmmmmm??

    Suspicious (⌐■-■) – ( ಠ_ಠ)>⌐■-■

    1. Noooo! That’s the worst!

I’ll pat pat you, don’t be sad, okay? Thanks for reading <3

      Yeah, those two idiots ㅠㅠ

Every element of Exclusive Menu bothers me so much… But it’s indeed weird that Jo Uisin doesn’t mentions a headache. It’s either that he just doesn’t care to tell us that he is in pain, as he often does, or headache only appears when he opens the minimap in the Eungwang District.

I believe we will get some clues about To Sihu’s situation in the next chapter (?), but there is surly something deeper going on. Remember that To Sihu was assassinated in the PMH.

  4. Anonymous

I don’t really get the original Korean context, but what about Spat-urday, or Sat-hurl-day?

    1. That… That’s actually a really good idea!

  5. Ah I’ve caught up… welp…

I read this novel around a year ago until like chap 200 and then COMPLETELY forgot about it until I got recommended it like a few days ago…
I kept thinking it looks so familiar for the first few chapters until it finally clicked. Still cant believe I completely forgot this existed lmao 🤣 I honestly don’t remember much of what I read before, just some familiarity with the stuff happening so I’m enjoying reading it like a new reader!

Anyways, thanks for translating the novel!!! Enjoying it a lot!

Also not sure if it’s a joke(? Personal ghost?) or not but I can help with proofreading if you need someone for it! Sorry if their name is actually Personal Ghost lmao!!

    1. This novel can feel new even if you remember it, because just how many foreshadowings for things later there are, so when you re-read and see all the little hints it feels like completely new novel too.
I’m happy you’re enjoying it! The thanks should be also sent to a person recommending it~ !

Personal Ghost is both a name and a joke. That said they’re a bit overworked right now, so… I’ll think about it, but just in case I want to contact you, can I use e-mail you provided with this comment? (It’s visible only to me as an administrator of the site, don’t worry.)

      1. Very true and that’s the joy of rereading!

And that’s hilarious I love the joke + name XD yep you can contact me through that email 🙂

  6. Baek-ho and chess. Everyone is surprised he plays so surely its a connection to Jo Uisin right?

Ahhh and all these suspicious things keep happening ah! From the map to To Sihu… It’ll surely pop up later so I have to save these nuggets of info for the reveal (>д<)

  7. im just wondering. White Tiger acted weird. And Red Tiger also found it weird when he played chess. Is Golden Tiger good at chess? If he does, is White Tiger defeating him normal? *insert intensive brain activities*

  8. To Sihu has a distant (?) relationship with relatives enough that he doesn’t have to greet him and he was also assassinated in PMH….. was he possibly a scapegoat? Maybe it’s because he’s an illegitimate child or interfering with succession in some other ways? Hmmmmmmmmm this is too much to think about
